Delay of Gratification in Costa Rican Preschoolers: Effect of Trust in the Experimenter and the Socio-Economic Status

This study analyzed the effect of confidence in experimenter on performance a group Costa Rican preschoolers self-control. In addition, socioeconomic status marshmallow task was by comparison children from both different schools (public vs private) and contexts within each school. The sample participants 67 (26 girls, M age = 63 months, SD 6.03). Effects were found, socio-economic implications this for future studies with families are discussed.
